North High School

Let's see: After working for several years at good ol' Boulevard Foods, I finally went to college at the University of Northern Iowa, graduating in 1998. During that time I met my wife, Chris and we were married in 1999 (Paul Pick was my best man). Our son, Bobby was born in 2000 and we added our daughter, Abby in 2003. We have lived in the Des Moines area for the past eight years, mostly in the little town of Carlisle, which is about ten minutes south of the metro area.
Professionally, I stayed in the grocery business after college, working as a manager for Hy-Vee for six years. I then moved to Super Target in West Des Moines, working as a human resources manager. Recently, I "retired" from the retail world and went to work for Nationwide Insurance as a commercial processor. My wife also works as a sales agent for Nationwide.

School Story:

My high school memories consist of working way too much, saving way to little of the money I made, and occasionally having one or two drinks with the guys (Pick, Forsling, Ryno, and just about everyone else who happened to be around). Those were the good old days when a crappy fake ID could get you into a few bars and get you all the beer you ever needed! I had a blast doing all the stupid stuff you were supposed to do when you were young.
